the gwynedd is in a great spot for snowdonia. self check-in made arriving easy. our twin room was clean and tidy, clearly renovated. There was a fridge! the wifi was simple to connect to, and there’s a decent corner shop right across the street.

This place suits me perfectly. I love the wi-fi, flat-screen TV, and express check-in. During my first stay, the staff helped me find great local hikes. A tip, ask for recommendations! I'm definitely coming back.

The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from the Mountain Railway and nearby eateries. The room was clean, with ample tea and coffee facilities. however, the bathroom left much to be desired—the fittings were old and poorly installed, affecting overall comfort. The breakfast was notably good, featuring delicious homemade rolls, but the bed was uncomfortably hard, diminishing the quality of sleep. Despite friendly service, the experience felt lacking in terms of hospitality.
